Mobile applications

A well-designed, fast and interactive mobile app can go a long way in helping you fight for your customers. The rapid growth of mobile phones, and with it mobile app usage, opens up a whole new dimension in branding.

Professional mobile application development

There's no question that a well-built mobile app can deliver significant results in customer engagement and commitment, especially with more than 70% of users rating mobile apps as easier to use than websites optimised for mobile devices.

A good mobile app should have the following features

  • Easy to handle
People generally don't like complicated things, especially when it's on a small display. We help our partners to make their mobile apps transparent, logical and easy to use.
  • Thought through UX - user experience
This is closely linked to simplicity: if the application does not provide the right user experience and does not make it easy for users to solve the problem at hand, no one will use it more than once or will like to use it.
  • Speed
In the world of real-time apps, if a new app doesn't load in a few seconds or less, users are sure to move on.

Advantages of the mobile app

  • Interactivity
Native apps can communicate with all the functions offered by your phone, such as speedometer, camera or GPS.
  • Less restriction
Mobile apps are not limited by browser capabilities and can be used offline.
  • Better user experience
Mobile apps are faster and easier to use than sites served by mobile browsers.
  • Popularity
Users spend 3-4 times more time using mobile applications than using a mobile-optimised websites.
  • Broad availability
The mobile app can be found in the AppStore, Google Play and/or Windows Marketplace, so it will automatically be in front of people who want to download an app.
(This, of course, can also work against the mobile app, since the user has to download the app before he can use it.)

For some projects, the focus is not on which type of application is better, but on which solution will achieve the optimal end result. That's why we offer our partners the option of hybrid application development, which combines the benefits of mobile and web applications.

Technology and planning

Mobile app platforms: iOS, Android, Windows

We strive for efficiency and value for money, which is why we rarely build the same mobile app separately for each mobile platform.
Instead, we use Microsoft's development toolkit, Xamarin, to write "just once" in .NET and C# for the three major platforms. This means we can build apps that work with the hardware on the phone or tablet - such as the camera, flash, or accelerometer - so we get truly native mobile apps tailored specifically for the target platform. This advantage means faster and more cost-effective development for our partners, and a smoother project.

Mobile application prototype

After discussing the requirements and the necessary functionality, we will create a prototype if required, so that our partner can see the skeleton of the new application and "play" with it as it takes shape. This allows any design or features that are not perfect to be flagged, ensuring that the finished mobile app already looks and functions exactly as required.

After the business application is done

We won't leave our partners behind even after the project is finished. We take pride in what we deliver and want our customers to get the most out of the application, so:

  • We provide user documentation in plain English and do not bore our partners with useless technical terminology.
  • We offer full training for our applications, either at our clients' offices or at our premises in Budapest.
  • We provide ongoing support on demand, with flat-rate support contracts and priority availability.
  • We also provide hosting services for our applications on request. We've invested heavily in building a secure, scalable and lightning-fast infrastructure that provides adequate protection against potential cybersecurity risks.
